Puddle Dock

Prolojik’s Plexus system has been utilised for the Cat A fit out of One Puddle Dock, a 1960s office building near London’s Blackfriars station.

Prolojik’s Plexus system was part of a complex refit of the 100,000 sq. ft space that included complete M&E plus lift installation to achieve a light, workable space with a stripped back, retro look.

Plexus is an open protocol lighting control solution and the advantage of this is that it gives full control and emergency monitoring of the building’s lighting installation. This then allows any in-house engineer or third party contractor to access, maintain and adapt the system.

Plexus also provides a degree of future-proofing to suit the client’s needs.

A Building Management System can also be run through Plexus, making it a highly efficient way to integrate multiple control products, plus it offers the associated benefits of speed of installation and scalability throughout a building’s architecture.

This particular £21 million project involved Prolojik liaising closely with the project team including architects Scott Brownrigg and an interiors team from Wilmott Dixon throughout the scheme’s 54-week duration. Plexus was a key part of the overall remodelling of the six-storey project, providing a flexible and efficient lighting control system for this building, which occupies a prominent spot that offers easy access to London’s South Bank.
