The PL172 is a luminaire mounted BLE to DALI DT8 interface, built to achieve wireless controls to a luminaire fitting. The PL172 is designed to complement the PS58x sensor range, receiving commands on the BLE mesh, which are then relayed over DALI to the LED driver in the fitting. DT8 or DALI Type 8, also known as DALI 209, is a DALI compatible device which allows the user to change light colour, colour temperature and intensity to their preference, within the same fixture to achieve tuneable white.
The PL172 also interfaces with the GN100 GO™Edge Gateway to collect and export data to the cloud.
