Prolojik’s PN462BLE is an intelligent routing and power distribution hub for PS462BLE sensors. Proxima sensors are either internetworked using CAT 6 patch leads or 4 core (2 pair) cable. In both cases the cable provides LON connection and 12V DC power to each sensor.

The CAT 6 can be connected between up to 10 BLE sensors then back to the PN462 hub. Multiple branches of 10 sensors up to a maximum of 64 can be networked back to any one hub.

At the electrical riser, The PN462 connects to an area controller panel containing a high efficiency 12V source and an IP router (sold separately).

The panel will have a termination port for each of the 4 Cat 6 home run cables or for the 4 core (2 pair) cable.



Input Voltage: 2VDC.
4 x RJ45 home-run ports.


Output Voltage: 12V DC
16 x RJ45 outbound ports.
Each output is fused at 2A.


When the 4 core (2-pair) cable is used, the installer must ensure that cable terminations are correct and pre -tested before connecting to the 12 V power supply.
Mixed or reverse polarity will not damage the equipment, but will prevent commissioning until the fault is cleared.
We recommend a maximum run length of 60m f rom the PN462 hub to minimise volt drop.
The PN462 hub shall in turn be wired back to the electrical riser using up to 4 uplink ports.

Where the home run is implemented on a 4 core (2-pair cable), a 16AWG or 1.5mm cross sectional are cable should be used for the 12V connection.
