Biodynamic Lighting taps into the natural changes in daylight colour temperature to sync with our innate circadian rhythms. Kelvin (K) measures the colour temperature of light, indicating its warmth or coolness.
A lower K value, like 2700K, suggests warmer, more yellow light, while higher values, such as 6000K, denote cooler, bluer light. This contrasts with Lumens (LM), which gauges the brightness or luminous flux emitted by a light source. It quantifies the total visible light, with higher lumens indicating brighter illumination, regardless of the light’s colour temperature. In essence, K measures the colour, while LM measures the brightness of light.
