Pod meeting rooms are becoming a common feature of the office landscape, allowing flexible open plan office spaces to also accommodate private or quiet spaces for staff members to work and meet. The control demands in pod meeting rooms nevertheless need to match the functionality of modern offices from lighting, through connectivity to environmental control.
Prolojik have teamed-up with leading office wiring and power solutions provider CMS Electracom to develop a range of pod meeting room controllers and accessories, enabling pod manufacturers and clients to achieve a plug and play approach to control. We have developed a modular design with a range of functions supporting everything from a single user to a multi-occupant solution, all within a common platform.
The PL900 Pod Controller range provides occupancy-based lighting and ventilation, louvre control and light scene control. The controllers also have monitored battery back-up for louvres with heat & smoke detector interlocks to enable automatic access for sprinkler systems in the event of emergency. Controllers also come complete with a BMS port for onward integration to the building wide management system using Open Standards network solutions. The solution is also designed to support the addition of Prolojik’s Proxima space analytics sensors for deep insight into space utilisation.
