Beyond the Pitch: Prolojik, Hullbridge Sports and the WWF

Prolojik and Hullbridge Sports join forces to partake in a couple of special training sessions with the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation and days out at Adams Park stadium in 2024.

Back in the summer of 2023, there were a few exciting and bold new chapters announced in the world of football. Manchester United signed a new £900m deal with Adidas, renewing their kit partnership for 10 more years. The England Men’s captain and Tottenham legend, Harry Kane, joined Bayern Munich for a reported £82m fee. And the English Football League agreed a new £935m broadcast deal with Sky Sports.

But these deals frankly paled into insignificance when the news broke that Prolojik had beaten off all the competition to become the new front-of-shirt sponsor for Hullbridge Sports under-9’s and under-11’s in a dramatic double swoop that rocked the world of football to its very core.

And today, we are proud to announce that we have organised a very special training session for the teams in association with the magnificent Wycombe Wanderers Foundation, the official charity of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club.

As a leading name in innovative lighting solutions, Prolojik has long been synonymous with cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking designs. The decision to sponsor the Hullbridge Sports football teams reflects our dedication to supporting local communities and fostering a culture of growth and achievement.

The Hullbridge Sports U11 Blue Team play in the Southend and District Junior Sunday Football League, whilst the U9 Blue Team play in the South East Essex Primary League, both under the guidance of Joe Richards, who is also Commissioning Manager at Prolojik.

Hullbridge Sports Under-11’s

Prolojik and Hullbridge Sports understand the importance of teamwork, precision, and the pursuit of excellence in their respective goal-orientated endeavours. This collaboration is more than a sponsorship; it’s a synergy of shared values and a commitment to reaching new heights together.

“We have always believed in the power of training and continuous development, and we invest heavily in CPD for our staff”, said Prolojik Founder and CTO, Asela Rodrigo. “It’s the cornerstone of what we believe in as a business and that is why this special training session came to be. We are proud of our sponsorship of Hullbridge Sports U9’s and U11’s and high-quality training is equally as important in football as in business. It doesn’t get much bigger around here than the mighty Chairboys!”

The day will start with a 90-minute training session held at the 4G Cressex Football Centre in High Wycombe. The pitch is the highest quality playing surface, and the session will be delivered by a member of the Wycombe Wanderers Elite Development Academy (EDA) Coaching Team, all of whom hold qualifications from The FA and/or UEFA.

The lads will then head up to Adams Park to watch the first team play in their famous blue quarters on the hallowed turf. The teams are scheduled to be in attendance for the EFL League One fixtures with Peterborough United on Saturday 10th February 2024 and Barnsley on the 2nd March 2024.

Hullbridge Sports Under-9’s

Since 2007, the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation has passionately believed in making Wycombe Wanderers Football Club a force for good within High Wycombe and the surrounding areas. Grassroots sports, community initiatives and developing people are what they exist to do. These are values shared by Prolojik, and we are looking forward to not only this training session, but potential future collaborations with the Foundation. Watch this space!

Ahead of the fixtures, Prolojik Marketing Coordinator, Mark Fawkes, who previously worked with the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation said, “I’m really excited for this collaboration. The Wycombe Wanderers Foundation is the heartbeat of the community we are based in through their initiatives in local schools, with adults with additional needs and, of course, the football programmes they run. To be able to benefit from their experienced coaches is great for the team’s development and I’m sure it’ll be a great day out for everyone.”

In the spirit of shared values and a commitment to excellence, Prolojik and Hullbridge Sports continue a journey together, confident that this partnership will be the catalyst for a bright and successful future. As the floodlights shine on the Hullbridge Sports football team, we eagerly anticipate the exciting moments and achievements that lie ahead, both on and off the pitch. Future updates to follow.
