An iconic new building needs an innovative lighting control design!
Prolojik Limited are delighted to announce that we have secured the iconic Project Leapfrog fit-out at 40 Leadenhall to be occupied by Law Firm, Kirkland and Ellis.
40 Leadenhall is one of the biggest schemes to ever receive planning permission in the City of London. Located in the City’s insurance district, the building is targeting an ‘Excellent’ rating with BREEAM, NABERS 5 Star, and ‘Platinum’ WELL, WiredScore and SmartScore ratings.

Prolojik are excited to participate in the SmartScore Council, helping define the assessment programme and input our unique perspective on the connectivity of spaces viewed from the lighting standpoint.
40 Leadenhall is a smart space of the future. Building on the base-build project delivered for MACE, Project Leapfrog will deliver a premium space, including practice floors, meeting rooms, conference rooms and event spaces over 19 floors of the building.
Prolojik has been tasked to deliver circadian lighting control, scene control, AV and BMS integration and smart building integration from our innovative Modular range of products. Prolojik Products installed throughout the Project Leapfrog fit-out include PS432 and PS432C Multi Sensors, PL531 DALI Lighting Control Modules, PN541 Area Controllers and PC638 DALI 8 Scene Wall Plates.
Modular offers a contractor-friendly solution featuring a Power Distribution Hub with a fully pluggable 10-port design, each rated at 16A and supporting up to 10A per port for versatile installation scenarios. It includes Addressable Switch Input Ports that directly support various switches for switching, dimming, override, and emergency test initiation.
Being fully DALI compliant, the system provides a DALI Hub with integrated DALI PSU and master, allowing comprehensive DALI functionality. Additionally, Modular’s Luminaire Vendor Agnostic system offers optimized installation and commissioning, enabling easy upgrades and supporting diverse applications in sectors such as commercial, education, laboratories, and healthcare.
With a proven track record, Modular from Prolojik can seamlessly handle scenarios ranging from legacy systems to the latest DiiA systems, accommodating single modules or expanding to a network of up to 64,000 modules for extensive interconnectivity across zones and floors.

About their new home, Kirkland & Ellis announced that they had agreed terms to move its London office in 2021, which includes over 550 employees, and become a major occupier to 40 Leadenhall Street. The Firm will move in upon completion of the project.
“40 Leadenhall will be a modern and iconic building with state-of-the-art features,” said Jon A. Ballis, Chairman of Kirkland’s Executive Committee, in a recent interview. “We will have a new, beautiful and welcoming environment in London for all our lawyers, staff and clients, with cutting-edge technology and workspaces.”
The building is designed to respond to its surrounding context while making its own confident statement within London’s famous skyline. 40 Leadenhall also respects its historic surroundings, protecting views of St Paul’s Cathedral from all angles, and restoring and integrating the Grade II-listed heritage building 19–21 Billiter Street.
Prolojik will be working with T Clarke on this milestone project being delivered by ISG Plc around a sophisticated design specification by Chapman BDSP and Light Bureau.
